Free Spirit Film Festival has become a highlight of the budding film culture in McLeod Ganj. It's the only annual film festival that screens some of the most unique selection of films from around the world. Many of the films may never be seen again even in big cinema screens.

The audience will see some unique and extraordinary films from different parts of the world that they would not be able to see other wise. They get exposure to different ideas, cultures, art, movements and activism from all over the world.

A diverse range of films — feature, short, documentary, music video, animation and experimental — of any length, are welcome for screening.

We are currently in the process of receiving submissions for the festival. Final deadline for receiving films is 15 September 2011. Films must be submitted via DVD or Flash Drive only.
